Rooted, Growing, and Branching Out in God's Love

Virtual Church – When Jesus Shows Up

Dear St. John’s family,

Again we come together to worship within the comfort and safety of our own homes. We will continue to worship like this until we are able to safely gather. I am grateful we have the technology to continue to share in worship in times like these. We are truly blessed. And God is truly worthy to be praised!!

Don’t forget to continue to do your homework throughout the week. This is a great time to strengthen your daily practice of staying connected to God. Read your devotional everyday. Spend time in prayer. There is no reason to rush your precious devotional time. So, learn to relish in being in God’s presence. Also, continue writing down what you are grateful for everyday. This will help you keep your heart focused on the many good things around us, rather than staying focused and worried on the bad stuff. And lastly, please pray for those that are considered essential and have to go to work, especially our men and women that work in the medical field. We have several that are a part of our St John’s family. Let’s pray for their safety and protection.

Now let’s turn our hearts on the One that is greater than all of our troubles and give God all the glory, honor and praise!
