BECOME A MENTOR TODAY…MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILDS LIFE

We have several opportunities to get involved in Kids Hope. Please take a look and let Ingrid Clark know if you think you would be interested in becoming a Mentor, Prayer Partner or Sponsor/Scholarship Provider.

We are partnering with La Marque Primary there is still time to get involved! Training is provided! Please contact me at 409-655-5348 or via email at IClark@stjohnsumctc.org for additional information.

“The Blanket Project” is in full swing…we need blankets for our annual Mexico mission trip at the end of the year.

The goal this year is to provide 150 blankets from St. John’s and as of today we have 70!!!

Here’s how you can help…We are looking for individuals, families, Small groups, or Sunday School classes to commit to providing blankets each week.

(There are exactly 7 Sundays left in before our mission trip…If we collect just 12 blankets each Sunday/week we will meet our goal of 150 blankets to take to Mexico!!!) Isn’t that AWESOME???

We will be returning to Mexico and want to bring a team and supplies from St. John’s. We will be going to the Albergue, El Elohe children’s shelter in Galeana, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Please join us in bringing hope to the “least of these.” Blankets can be dropped off in the Mission Donation area.

The Mexico trip dates are Dec 26th-Jan 2nd, the cost of the trip is $250.00.

You must have a valid passport to go on this trip. Youth age 14th and up & adults are encouraged to come on this trip.

It will be a life changing experience! Please contact me at 409-655-5348 or via email at IClark@stjohnsumctc.org for more information.
