Dear St. John’s friends and family,
We are called to pass on our faith from one generation to the next. This means that our faith is a public matter, even though it is so very personal. We are called to be bold in our faith because it is a matter of our identity. We are children of God redeemed by Christ’s blood. We carry a legacy of faith that was passed down to us from someone that wanted us to know that we belong to God and we are loved. Who shared their faith with you? Who introduced you to Jesus?
Take a moment to thank God for that person and the legacy of faith they passed down to you. Now with a grateful heart, enter into worship.
