Community Garden Work

St. John’s hosts the Texas City Community Garden located to the west of the church building. The vegetables that we grow are given to United Faith Alliance clients in need of fresh produce. Men’s Breakfast

Remember when the men used to gather for breakfast every Saturday at Fork and Spoon? It’s Baaack! Join Rusty McClellen as he hosts the Men’s Breakfast at Rigo’s Cafe (formerly Fork and Spoon) every Saturday at 8:30 AM beginning Saturday, September 9. Come for some breakfast and time of fellowship. 

Sunday Worship at 9:30

We come together to glorify God through music, prayers, scripture readings, and sermons. Join us in the sanctuary for contemporary worship led by our praise band featuring vocalists, guitar, keyboard, and drums.

Treehouse Kids Sunday School

Kids ages 3-10, join us in the Treehouse on Sunday mornings for Sunday School. You can begin in the worship service at 9:30 AM where you will be invited to come up front where our pastor has a children’s message just for you. Then, head to the Treehouse where you will enjoy a fun and…

Youth Sunday School for 5th-9th Graders

Join the 5th-9th graders during the 9:30-10:30am hour on Sundays. Just like the Treehouse Kids, these youth will stay in the 9:30 worship service until after the children’s moment. Then they will move to youth room for Sunday school.

Sunday Worship at 11:00 AM

We come together to glorify God through music, prayers, scripture readings, and sermons. Join us in the sanctuary for traditional worship led by our chancel choir featuring choral music, hymns, organ and piano.

Family Fun Night at the Nessler Waterpark

Join your church family and our MDO friends for a night of fun, food, and fellowship at the Nessler Park Family Aquatics Center in Texas City. Bring your friends and neighbors. We’ll have hot dogs, chips, and drinks available. Enjoy a summer evening at the water park playing in the water and visiting with friends.

Families at the Movies

Join your St. John’s family at the movies and bring your crew! We will meet at Premiere Cinema in Texas City. The movies start between 10 AM and 11 AM. Please check the theater’s website HERE for the start times and seating. These movies are free.  June 18         Transformers IJune 25   …

Youth Bible Study
