Hi folks, David & Christie McKnight here. Has it ever felt like there’s too much month left at the end of the money? Feel like you’re living paycheck to paycheck and can’t get ahead?

We used to feel that way too, and please know that you are not alone. 70% of Americans live check to check. Look down the row of chairs in church Sunday…that’s seven people in your row.

We are leading our 10th session of Financial Peace University starting in January. FPU is the class we should have all been required to take in high school; in nine weeks, you will learn why and how to save for emergencies, how to finally pay off debt, to create a working spending plan for your money, and how to invest for the future. Other topics include insurance, mortgages, and saving for & paying for college.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a FLEX class meaning you will watch one hour of video at home, online, each week prior to class. Classroom time each Sunday will be approximately one hour. Free childcare is available; the church is located across the highway from College of the Mainland next to Elmcroft Assisted Living.

How often do you get the opportunity to take a class that changes your life?

Check out this video preview of the class:

Now, I’m not making empty promises. It’s up to you to do the hard work. But FPU shows you, step by step, what to do, how to do it, and why. How to handle money God’s and Grandma’s ways. If you do what the class teaches, you will have more control over your money than ever before.

Nearly 100 people have gone through the class with us at St. John’s. All told, over 5,000,000 people have gone through the class and the average family pays off about $5000 in debt and saves about $3000 in the first 90 days. That $8000 turnaround could be you in a few months! Yes, you will pay a little bit for the class, but it’s a lifetime membership. You can go through it as many times as you want.

Here are quotes from two of our previous students at St. John’s:

You will get so much out of this class if you really apply yourself. At week 9 I have paid off almost $3000 in debt & gotten my $1000 Emergency Fund…I feel more confident about my future. Take advantage of this class & all of the materials!

If you are married and money has caused problems between you and your partner, pay attention. This will truly help you gain peace in your life. Enjoy the ride!

Free child care is provided. For more information on the class that starts January 14th and to sign up – click here.
